Howling For Wolves is proud to offer information on candidates running for the Minnesota State Legislature (House and Senate).

SECOND STEP: FIND HOW YOUR LEGISLATOR OR CANDIDATE (non-incumbent) VOTED OR WOULD VOTE.

VOTES OF CURRENT INCUMBENT LEGISLATORS:

  • Current members of the MN House of Representatives voted and passed an amendment to ban wolf hunting and trapping on April 17, 2023 - the top priority of Howling For Wolves. A "Yes" vote (to the left of the name) is supported by Howling For Wolves. The amendment was adopted by the full House but removed in the House/Senate Conference Committee.

 

  • Current members of the MN Senate voted on an amendment to the Senate Omnibus Environment Policy Bill, Senate File 3631 (Hawj), offered by Senator Mary Kunesh (D-New Brighton) on April 11, 2024 that would have banned a wolf hunting and trapping season in Minnesota. After a lengthy debate, the amendment failed to pass by a vote of 30-35, with bipartisan support for its adoption
