(St. Paul, Minn) – Howling For Wolves, a Minnesota-based wolf advocacy organization, announces its first “Wolf Pack” meeting in Brainerd on Saturday, July 7 from 1-3 PM at the Brainerd Public Library.

This meeting is to gather wolf supporters to establish a Brainerd-area “Wolf Pack.” At the meeting, Howling For Wolves leaders will update attendees on the current legal status of the wolf, discuss various political priorities, and highlight current projects and opportunities to become involved in outreach, education, and advocacy on behalf of the wolf.

We oppose wolf trophy hunting and snaring of all wildlife and support the use of prevention methods to avoid wolf-livestock conflicts that avoids unnecessary wolf killing, says Dr. Maureen Hackett, founder and president of Howling For Wolves, a Minnesota-based wolf advocacy organization.
