Howling For Wolves to hold “Wolf Pack” meeting in Thief River Falls on July 14
(St. Paul, Minn) – Howling For Wolves, a Minnesota-based wolf advocacy organization, announces its first “Wolf Pack” meeting in Thief River Falls on Saturday, July 14 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Thief River Falls Public Library.
This meeting is to gather wolf supporters to establish a Thief River Falls-area “Wolf Pack.” At the meeting, Howling For Wolves leaders will update attendees on the current legal status of the wolf, discuss various political priorities, and highlight current projects and opportunities to become involved in outreach, education, and advocacy on behalf of the wolf.
“The gray wolf is an iconic and important part of Minnesota – and Howling For Wolves is organizing and engaging supporters in the Thief River Falls area to join our Wolf Pack to ensure this endangered species’ long-term survival for future generations. We oppose wolf trophy hunting and snaring of all wildlife and support the use of prevention methods to avoid wolf-livestock conflicts that avoids unnecessary wolf killing,” says Dr. Maureen Hackett, founder and president of Howling For Wolves, a Minnesota-based wolf advocacy organization.
