May Day Parade

When:  Sunday, May 4th - Line up 11:00 AM, parade begins at 12:00 PM
Where:  May Day Parade Route - Bloomington Avenue, Minneapolis, MN
Howling For Wolves will walk in this year’s May Day Parade in Minneapolis. Celebrating its 40^th anniversary, the annual May Day parade is a spectacle of colorful floats and amazing puppetry by In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre members. We’ll participate in the Free Speech parade section where community groups proclaim their names and causes. With more than 50,000 spectators, the venue offers a perfect setting where we can spread the word about our Minnesota gray wolves. Interested in joining in the fun?

We encourage everyone to walk the parade route. Please check out Howling For Wolves’ Facebook page for additional event information and how YOU can be involved. It’s an event for the entire family, come one, come all!

The parade route begins on Bloomington Ave. at 25^th St. E. Click here for map. Participants will assemble near Cedar Field at 18th Ave S. and 25th Ave. E. between 11 AM and 12 noon.
